Hi, I've just joined the forum as I bought a beocenter 4600 yesterday. It was only down the road so thought I'd get it. I haven't been able to connect any speakers as I don't have the 2pin din connectors yet but I'm getting no sound from the headphones. All the functions work well so thought I'd see if anyone might know of some things to try.
I'm not very knowledgeable about repairs or hi fi but I'm hoping it could be something simple like changing a fuse or something. Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I love the unit. Many thanks for your time, cheers Jonathan :)
The source selector pushbuttons can often stick a bit.If one if pressed in and doesn't pop back a little as it latches correctly, the Beocenter is kept silent.

Hi, thanks for your message it's much appreciated. All the buttons seem to work fine and when pushed in they all spring back a little. The only one that is stuck is the cro2 button. If the headphones arnt working, is it likely that the speakers won't either? Cheers and all the best, Jonathan :)
The problem will be elsewhere then. You could try with a pair of speakers to eliminate the headphones themselves (or the headphone output or their connection to the Beocenter) being the problem.
