My BeoSystem 3 seems very slow to start up. It is connected to an LG OLED TV (using separate remotes until I can sort my Beo6). When I turn them both on, the TV comes on really fast and then complains there is nothing connected to the HDMI port and asks me to check the connections and then defaults to the TV tuner. I have to use the TV remote to go to the HDMI input for the BS3.
I know I will never get it to start instantly, but is there a menu where I can go and change the start-up and curtain opening times to the shortest possible delays? At the moment, I turn on my BS3, wait for my Beolab lights to go green, wait a few more seconds then turn on the TV. It usually comes on with the last used HDMI selected (my BS3) but not always, if I'm too fast at turning it on after the Beolab 3's go green it says nothing is connected.
I can then set my Beo6 to run a macro with the timings built in. At the moment, I have experimented with the Beo6 and I have a macro that turns on the BS3, waits a bit, turns on the TV and then goes to the specific HDMI. It all works but takes a while and the Beo6 looks like it has frozen while the macro runs so it would be nice to have the delay as short as possible.
Thanks
Stoobie
Unfortunately not, but you can get the LG to switch on via the PUC so that it synchronises better.
I did this though for my LG screen with a Raspberry Pi and the serial port used to switch on the Panasonic-based Beovision 4.
There is a service menu where you can adjust the startup and curtains (e.g. when you switch from TV to projector to avoid dark picture before the projector us up to speed and the screen is down).
Unfortunatly forgot how to access it as my BS3 is boxed now and stored away.

Thanks Frog, I am achieving this with my Beo6 and although your idea us intriguing, I've literally just posted my Raspberry Pi (KODI media center) to my godson after swapping it for a FireTV running KODI too.
