My beloved old B&O CD-50, which I had repaired last year for disk transport issues, has suddenly stopped producing audio output.  The disk loads (shiny side up) just fine, the unit reads it and starts playing just fine ... just no audio from the system. I have tried plugging it in with RCA cables into another amp, but no sound.  Any ideas?  ---  I am now looking for similar posts and have found something to look at; but if anyone has a popular fix, let me know.   Thanks

Hi Bart,

I have run into that.  It turned out to be the CD50 audio muting circuit.   PCB8, C352 electrolytic capacitor was shot in my CD50.  It is supposed to be 33uF, 25V capacitor but it measured around 45nF.  Once I installed a new capacitor my audio signal returned.  I show a picture of it at the bottom of this post.
