Hello Guys,
do someone know, if the BeoLab 7 works with the Receiver 1?
Or need the BeoLab 7 extra powersupply to turn on?
Thanks
Greetings

That is not nice, Steve.
Theremight very well be some, who are not on Facebook or even in a closed group there..........who is interested in this question/answer.
Besides answers in Facebook groups are not (google) searchable.
Lets keep the Beoworld Forum as the resource for knowledge about B&O.....please.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Yes, you can use a Beolab 7-1 with a single receiver 1 for mono sound, I can advise further once I know the receiver and other speaker model numbers

Sorry MM!
I agree!
I replied on the Facebook forum via my phone whilst out of the office - my phone screen is too small to use Beoworld easily. Now that I am back in the office, I can reply in full here.
Beolab 7-4 is mono only, so this can be used with a single Receiver 1. However, to get the best from Beolab 7-1, 7-2 and 7-6 speakers (which are stereo), the best option is to use these in stereo with two Receiver 1s and a "Y" adapter cable. In a setup with a non-B&O surround sound receiver, the centre channel output will be mono, but it is sometimes better to tell the receiver that the centre channel is not connected and to use the Front Left/Right outputs for the Beolab 7 speaker.
The ideal solution will depend on the room layout and the other speakers being used, so I would always request some more details of the receiver and other speakers to be connected before suggesting a particular option.
Hope this helps, please ask if you have any questions.
Hey Steve,
but when i use ONE Receiver 1 all speaker are on inside the BeoLab 7-1/2/6? (in Mono)
You need a specially wired cable to get both sides of the speaker working correctly from a single Receiver 1 - please let me know when you are ready to go ahead and I can help with this.
