Hello,

Just registered on the forum, we have different models of B&O in our house, when buying the new stuff I also bought an old BeovisionAV9000 because I like the model....

I've put it in a room but I don't seem to find the way to program the tv-stations , there was no manual...

I bought a Beo4 control to operate it....

can somebody help me with this?

thanks!

Hi.

The AV9000 is an analogue CRT tv that doesn't have an inbuilt digital receiver. You will have to get a separate digital box and connect it via the scart connection on the back of the tv. A lot of the later B&O tv's had a set top box controller which, with  the addition of an infra red lead would allow you to control the digi box with the Beo 4 but I'm not sure if the AV 9000 had this feature. I'm sure other members can advise on that. Pressing 'sat' on the Beo 4 should show what's connected by scart - then tune in the digi box accordingly.

Graeme.

Tom, welcome to Beoworld.  Where in the World are you?

What else is the AV9000 connected to?  How will it receive a TV signal and in what format - digital or terrestrial?

When the TV is on, press 'menu' on the BEO4.  You should then see a list on the TV screen including; TV program list, sound, picture, set up.

Depending on what you are trying to do, you need to either scroll to the item you want or just push the relevant number on the BEO4.

To use the sat function, press 'sat' on the BEO4 and then 'menu' to tune any satellite stations.

The full user and set-up guides are available on Beoworld for an upgrade in membership to Silver or Gold.  It's quite a complex TV capable of a lot and is well worth it.

Dave.

Hey Dave,

Thanks for your reply, I live in Belgium...

It seems that I have not been trying hard enough, I just pressed the "MENU"-button, and everything I was looking for, is right up there...

Thanks for the tip, I can start my TV-tuning now, sometimes it is just that easy and I can't even find this, ah well......

Hallo Leslie,

Helemaal niet goed geprobeerd vrees ik, ik moest gewoon even op menu duwen en daar is de setup mooi terug te vinden, toch bedankt voor de reply,

Groetjes, Tom
