youtube on avant

Hi GUys, anyone had any problem with the youtube channel on the avant? i had to reset to default the tv again and again to get it work, otherwise it will just be blank screen. Help pls...

Nope, works perfect on mine. I have Youtube in many devices, but it´s easiest to use the Avant's version.

Hi try to disable the quick on timer (if you use it) this way you are sure that the TV enters a real stand-by, it's not nice to reset the TV...

Does this change the error?

Dear all!

Since a few days the youtube App on my Avant75 NG does not start - it gets stuck on the login process - which should happen automatically; the app crashes and the TV says "youtube was shut down"; clicking on "report" does not lead to anything; I am just able to choose "ok"

I tried to uninstall the app but as is seems to be some kind of core software I am only able to uninstall the updates - the old version (with read screen at startup) does not start up/leads to another crash.

Login data available - updates are possible...

I also agreed to use TVs microphone (do not know if there is any) through update process as I thought this could be the reason...

Any ideas?

Same here on a BV14 and Eclipse

I had the same issue on the Horizon. I expect that it is a bug in the last update of the Youtube app. I deleted all the updates and I do not receive any messages on the screen anymore after I started the Horizon up. When I want to use Youtube I use the app of the Apple TV.

thanks for your response - me too, using youtube now on apple tv...lets hope maybe there will be an update soon
