Hi

Airplay on my Beolit is just not reliable and I am looking for a rechargeable Bluetooth receiver to improve connnectivity with my iphone  I want to use it in the garden so it can’t be plugged into power

Can anyone recommend one that’s not too expensive?

You be option is to power the Bluetooth unit with a small battery pack. You can fit this in the compartment for the power cable.

Sounds good. Is there a combo available or do I buy the receiver and battery pack separately. Any suggestions would be welcome

thanks

I'm not familiar with the Beolit 12, but on my Beolit 15 I use the USB port on it to power a small WiFi streamer that's also plugged into the line input. If you can find a BT dongle that can be driven by USB levels of power that would be an option. I have a hard time imagining that a BT dongle really needs a much power.

Powering a device via the usb on the 12 and feeding the six input with said device usually results in noise.

Hi Leosgonewild

Thanks for the heads up. So do you have a Bluetooth receiver and battery pack recommendations?

Interesting, seems to work without noise on my 15. Go figure.
