I have recently become the proud owner of a pair of Beovox 2500 cubes in need of some love and attention (thanks, Lee! ) and also bought an additional single one for a source of spares.
One thing that they will need is a re-spray and I had always assumed that they were black but, as many will know, they aren't. I saw a post on here from a chap a few years back who said he had found the perfect matching colour and he would post details, but he never did and he hasn't been back on the site for over a month so probably hasn't seen my message to him (paging 'Ben_S'!!)
Consequently, I was wondering if anyone else had any recommendations for an original-looking colour? These will be the final step in my Beolab 5000 system (well, apart from re-furbishing the Beovox 5000s...) and so I'd like to make them look as good as possible.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I think that ral 7021 schwarzgrau is very close to be the right colour.

Sorry for the late reply - in fact I didn't get any of the emails for some reason and stumbled upon this thread by chance!
The match I found was almost right (but I have since compared it to the genuine finish and it was slightly too "blue"), I may still have the paint I used but will check the garage and have a look.
I would also ask Frede perhaps, or try Henrik's recommendation!

No worries! As mentioned, it turned out my messages to you were bouncing back as undeliverable so I don't know what happened!
Henrik's suggestion looks excellent but I'd still be interested to know what you used.
Knowing what Henrik does in his everyday life, I would trust his advice blindly.
