Is there a way to setup a beogram 5500 with the beomaster 7000?

There is, however you will need a phono preamplifier since Beogram 5500 does not have it built in and Beomaster 7000 does not have a phono preamp (it was built in the Beogram 7000).
If you put in a generic phono preamp you wont be able to control Beogram 5500 via Master Control Panel. You might need a preamp with DIN plugs that will also forward the datalink signal that is needed for remote operation of the Beogram 5500. Not sure where to find such a unit. I'll have a look around.
