Hello all, well Ive been able to get a socket unit to mate with my 2 beocenter 2 master units. Yes I have 2 master units now. long story................

With the help of beobuddy ive got both master units working well.

But when each are connected to my only socket unit sometimes I get a crackling sound through the speakers, its not straight away. If I play a cd or use aux in, maybe 30 minutes after playing fine I get this crackling sound. Its so bad that I have switch off the unit as im afraid it will damage my beolab1's.

Any ideas what it can be? Ive searched the forum but i havent found anyone else with this issue.

No one has any ideas? I've tried another cable, but the 2 master units still seem to lose their connection to socket unit every now and again. Sometimes the text on the screen goes all scrambled too.

Well I bought another master unit (the 3rd!) and it came with another cable. Now using this newly acquired cable both my master units work. Sadly the 3rd that came with the cable doesnt. How weird is that? Anyway I now have a beautiful condition working beocenter 2 with optional stand for sale. Yes I think I want a beocenter 5 now :)
