Hello everybody,

I have a question about Beocord 2000. I changed all belts with Dillens Kit, cleaned all the wheels before, but:

if I touch play nothing happens. The solenoid does not click and the play function does not works.

Motor ist working, both wind functions are working, but the head mechanism is not working. Are there any Ideas?

Thank you for helping me.

Andreas

All wires and plugs connected?
Does the tapehead bridge engage when you press << or >>?
And does it fall back all the way in stop mode or will it push a mm or two further by hand?

Hello Martin,

thank you for answer.

all plugs are connected. The tapehead bridge does nothing, if I press << or >> . But wind function works.

If I press PLAY it falls back to Stop immediatly. No click, tapehead bridge does not move. If I trigger the solenoid manually, the mechanic works. Your belts also work fine. Seems like the solenoid does not trigger itselfs. The Cable has passage from solenoid to plug. I checked that too.

Hi Martin,

now it works. I pushed this plug with all that colored cable to look if there is passage, put it back after work. Now everything is fine. Problem with Contact perhaps.Next time I will do it at first :-)

Nevertheless: Thank you for your help.

Andreas
