Hello all,

Hope somebody may be able to assist me.  I have just bought a Beocom 2, which seems to only use Pulse dialling when calling a number from the phone book.  However, if I open the line and dial, it uses tone.

Is there a setting somewhere to adjust this?  I cant find it if there is, and a lot of googling has turned up no results.

Thanks in advance

Stuart.

Is yours a Russian phone? They have switchable pulse and tone dialing - page 28 of the reference guide!

Hi Peter,

 Not Russian to my knowledge...  Bought in UK.

Page 28 of my reference guide is blank!

An update, another user called Pontios just posted a solution to an identical issue with a Beocom 5, and happily it appears to have worked for my Beocom 2 as well.  Details below;

Mode 3
In mode 3 both predial and postdial are set to
Tone (DTMF).
> Press **781*3#
> Press call and await a dial tone.
> Press call to store the setting.
