Beomaster 3300 (type 2952)

Bad Beo week 2...

HI all on top of bad luck with my back up Beomaster projects my Beomaster 3300 (type 2952) is now not functioning properly. ( my everyday Beomaster 3000 (type 2932) is also out of action.

The 3300 switched on normally and on re plugging it in it clicked straight off. A while later it functioned, played a record through Beogram 2000 (type 5821) the record finished and sometime later the 3300 went into standby with a thump though one speaker. Since then it flicks straight into standby and does not stay on.

Could be one or more bad capacitors in the power supply or a bad rectifier.
A bad output hybrid IC can also cause this.

Ironically I have precisely the same issue, fortunately I have a Beomaster 3300 in reserve, I will get it serviced though. :)

Thanks for the advice

On starting the amp today cold it worked briefly.

So I guess the fault is permanent if intermittent
