Good Morning

I know that many are using apple TV as an add on and controlled by the PUC

I am not that keen on joining the apple eco system and wondered what quality alternatives others have tried and if it can be controlled via PUC.  Anyone who has experience of apple and others vs picture quality?

Nvidia Sheild Pro is a good alternative. I use both. Shield has AI up scaling of e.g HD to UHD and do a really good job with that. Also supporting more sound formats than ATV if you use e.g Plex.

I actually use it only with my LG OLED B9, but I checked in my BV11 and it has PUC codes for Nvidia Sheild.

Yes it has the PUC codes but the 2019 version is blootooth only so puC codes are no good.

Looks like the IR dongle is nly solution
