Old customer phoned and engineer has had a look and the 7-40 is in the way out, led panel is failing, and you can get parts anymore we had a chat and decided to go with this lg oled 55 cc set, with an adaptor plate from stb brackets, ae want to keep the surround sound, 1 option is an almsmano unit will this work ok? Other option I have looked at is a beolab 1 transmitter, will this work if I connect the speakers to the rj45 sockets, he has lab8000 as front lab 2 and lab6000 as rears or do I need anything else in the equation, the best option if I can find one is the beosystem 3, would appreciate feed back as to what would be the best solution

I asked the same question in another post.
I got three suggestions:
- Almando multiplay II with HDMI ARC
- BeoSystem 3 or 4
- AV receiver with pre-out
Personally I only have experience with the last option. It's fine - but it is not hassle free. You will loose the Bang & Olufsen magic.
You could consider a 'budget solution' like BV7-55 or an Eclipse 55 instead.

Thanks for the reply going to go the alammdo option. Bvi7/55 great set but to old me and hard to get spares. There is an option with the remote you can a solution from linteonic or modify a remote with part from oneremote
