I have just received my new belt for this BeoGram 1500 (thanks BeoParts!)
Now I have difficulty getting to the parts where the belt needs to be fitted in. With my BeoGram 1000, I could work from the top. Just removing the clamp-ring around the spindle, enabled me to lift the platter and access the all parts where the belt runs.
The BeoGram 1500 seems not to have a clamp-ring at the spindle (see close-up picture attached). So I haven't found a way yet to lift the platter.Anyone has a good advice how to access all areas to execute belt replacement?
For Beogram 1000 and the older Beogram 1500 models you normally don't never to take off the platter to replace the belt.
Fit the new belt around the platter - and in under it.
Flip over the deck, catch the belt using a suitable hook-shaped tool through the hole in the chassis near the motor, and lift the belt on to the metal idler wheel.
You can also tie a piece of string to the belt, and make sure it goes at the area near the motor, so you have something to pull the belt out with, if you find catching it with a hook difficult.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the advice. This worked perfectly.
Is a matter of 2 minutes work.
