Multiroom sources and touch to join confusion

Hi,

I have an Eclipse, a BS35 as well as a Stage (only using for music).

When listening to any source on the Eclipse; spotify, line-in, chromecast and even watching TV with any app like Netflix... I can touch to join on the BS35 or stage and it magically works. The eclipse takes the audio stream and sends it off to any speaker. Love it.

Problem is I would like the same behaviour when I start listening to spotify or stream something over chromecast to the BS35. When doing that, I cannot touch to join on the stage. Only works for tunein and line-in, which is lame.

Is there any solution to this, where I would have this kind of universal audio routing capability, wherever the stream starts and whatever the origin source? 

Do I need a beolink gateway?

But this works when starting from the eclipse. Looks like it's repacking the stream inside multiroom 'protocol'
