Hi Everybody,

I am new to this forum, and even though I have searched the forum, I did not find info about my problem.

Maybe this has been asked 1000 times before, so please bear with me.

I have just bought a Beogram 3000, and i am in love with the design and the feel. But there is one hair in the soup, the tone arm that is supposed to find its place, is reluctant to do so. I can see that it is trying, and if I help it a bit, it will also move.

Is there any help to get on this topic, a manual or a video?

Thank You very much!

You will have to check whether the cueing arm is correctly positioned on the friction plate.

The cueing arm is connected with the coupling mechanism on the tonearm which moves the tonearm towards the record .

Unfortunately, this is accessible by turning the Beogram over and removing the plastic bottom.

I'm about to continue my work on Beogram 1202 which has identical mechanism and I can take some pictures if you'd like.
