I am thinking of getting a Beogram 3400 turntable with a MMC 20EN cartridge from original owner in excellent condition. Buying over internet and only seeing pictures. It powered up and played record fine, then hit pause and now won't go all the way back on to start record. It is 120 us dollars. Is this a good price or should I pass. I have a good repair person who will not rip me off if it is just a minor repair.
Pressing START after PAUSE will resume playing from the point where it was paused.Pressing STOP while playing should bring the tonearm to the parked position, then press START to play from the beginning of the record.
