Hello BeoWorlders,
A small story and may be a question :
My Bs5/Bm5 suddenly had a problem today, so I took out my beosound 8 with an old iPhone 4 full of good music and... It's alive!
I didn't remember that fabulous sound, full of bass with superb trebles.
I'm using the tiny remote or the Beo4 while surfing the internet from my laptop :-))
Do i need a new wireless speaker like Beosound Balance, Beosound 1, M5,... when the Beosound is working so fine?
And i can connect a bluetooth music reciever or a 2nd hand apple airport express to stream my iPhone 8 music.
However, i have to admit i love these new speakers.
you can also plug it in to your PC too via USB and it shows up and is usable as PC speakers
Can it be done via USB? I thought it would be only by RCA input, just like the AirPort Express.
I bought one last saturday, and want to know everything before it arrives.
What about playing radio from Internet usine Ethernet cable?
Thanks in advance.
The manual says the Mini-USB input works. Priority of input sources means docking an iDevice overrides the USB input, and either overrides the RCA input. To know everything before it arrives (well, to know *something* at least -- it's a B&O manual, after all...) download the User Guide:

Thanks a lot.
I didn't know the USB could be used as an audio input.
