Hi, does anyone know for sure what process was involved in the finishing of the control panels of

Beomaster 6000 quad/ beogram 4002/ beocord 5000?

Was it an anodised process on etched aluminium or a brushed / linished lacquered spray paint finish on aluminium?

Kind regards,

Struer

Yes, Bang & Olufsen knows.
And they won't tell.

It is a coating. It isn't etched.
Underneath the coating the button panels are smooth. You can see that on some very worn button panels.
