Hi, I’m wondering if the B&O app on LG WebOS (allowing Beoremote control) is available on a vast amount of LG products, because I’m seriously considering buying a LG HU810P or AU810P projector (the latter even has Wisa, so in theory it could replace a B&O TV and still allow 5.1 with Beolabs), and as it has WebOS, controlling it with the Beoremote One instead of the ugly magic remote would be a very nice thing!
so... did someone try to use a beoremote with for instance a LG LCD TV ?

You need to have something in between.
The Beoremote talks to the soundcenter, so a Stage, Harmony or Eclipse is needed.
When that is said, I do not think that combining that to the mentioned projector would solve anything.
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence
As far as I know on the Eclipse and Harmony the Beoremote mainly talks to the TV and the sound center is a « dumb » HDMI ARC speaker. The only special « codes » sent are for the motorised stands but here I suspect that it’s the WebOS app that does the job of converting the received commands from the remote to the sound center.
If that was the case, you could just buy a Beoremote one for your LG OLED, and that is not possible.
I would love to be proved wrong, but I am pretty sure.
Not sure if I'm correct, but I believe when my Stage was installed there was an Ethernet cable between the TV and Stage to be added exactly to "enable" Beoremote One to control LG TV.
Ok, so it's the other way : the Beoremote sends signals to the soundcenter and the soundcenter sends signals to the LG via Ethernet, and the LG TV needs the B&O app to read the things sent through ethernet.
I really did think that a GX could be piloted by a Beoremote One via BT, as long as it has the B&O app!
