Hey there!
I have recently acquired i Bang & Olufsen branded lighter. It is made by the company Rowenta but that is the only information i have. It has been impossible for me to find any information at all. I have posted a picture of the lighter here below:
Welcome to Beoworld !
There's lots of things around with Bang & Olufsen stamped on it, also lots of things withno relation to the company whatsoever. Do a search on Ebay and you'll be surprised how many sellers are trying toup the price on their items by making it a "unique collectable".The lack of a B&O company logo could suggest that this is such an item.

It has come to my attention that it was givin to a friend of mine from a Bang and Olufsen employee. But i have not been able to find any information on Ebay either. It is a big mystery me and i would like to know if there is anyone out there with a similar lighter.
The font used on the lighter is not used with any logo — replica.

That font looks a lot like the one they used through the 80's-90's.
Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
Hi i have one of this but i don't know the price.
i wanna know the price please help me
i'm from greenland
Hmm,
Rowenta is a good brand for lighters.
Maybe the german distributor gave these lighters to good customers?
I think it looks like a genuine product.

For a collector even the give-away stuff could be interesting, but without the logo its most likeky “fake” and not of much more interest than any other lighter.
I collected B&O for decades, but I wouldnt rush to get a lighter like this.
A real B&O I would gladly pay a little for, if not already in my collection, though.
But it has a logo, isn't that the mid-80s logo? It really looks like that to me.
Nevertheless, it's just a simple freebie.
I'd rather have a fake B&O lighter than a real non-B&O lighter!!
These and similar items like diaries, pens and ties were often handed out to Dealer staff as sort of "bung's" ie reward for some perceived achievement or other,in lieu of proper commission, and not intended for re-sale.Part of a salesmans "toolkit"!
As Martin say's,to be collectable, items need the distinctive B&O logo, and those items were intended for sale and brand promotion.

I know for sure the lighter is from B&O, as I have one myself. It was part of a B&O Giveaways program back 1985-1988, when I was working at B&O in Stockholm/Solna.
