Hi All,

Just want to ask you a few questions -

Does anyone know when Beolab 2 stopped production?

Did it have any major updates during it's production run, if so when?

Also, regarding the issue with sticky plastics on the early Beolab 2 drivers is it happening alot? just that I've come across an early manufactured Belab 2 and all the speaker driver plastics have gone sticky.

Thanks guys.

Looks like all the plastics will go sticky, I've seen quite a few recently and all of them are slowly going sticky.

I've heard Beolab 3 are going the same.

Common thing now, the sticky touch...

You can strip the drivers and surrounds off, use solvent and a lot of time to strip them back, sand them down with very fine paper, mask them up then spray with automotive paint - but it takes ages and it's very messy.
