Hi. I have the beolab 6000 speakers wired up to the headphone socket of my tv. Not ideal they run on RCA connectors from a splitter on the headphone out from the tv . Every time we turn the tv on and off there is a loud pop from the speakers. I have a cambridge audio pre amp which when connected makes a loud humming noise even when there is no sound coming through the amp. Is it a problem with the speakers or the amp ? They worked fine with the amp for ages but now the humming is intolerable. Also I feel the popping with the current headphone setup is damaging the speakers. Any help would be much appreciated.
