Greetings all, I have beolab 6000 speaker with me which i connect to my onkyo. I would like to get a separate B&O amp for my beolab 6000 speaker . Would like everyone's advice on which B&O amp i should get for the optimum listening with the Beolab 6000 speaker
Regards
Hello and welcome to the Beoworld forum.
You don’t need an amp for your BL6000!
They are ‘powered’ speakers, which means, that they already have the amps built-in.
What you would need is a preamp (or a audio receiver with line-out connections) in order to control the volume and to have different sources connected.
If you are asking specifically about a B&O device, the easiest way would be to use a Beosound, Beocenter, Beomaster, Beovision - they all have PowerLink outputs, which is the best way to connect a Beolab speaker.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Thanks MM for the quick reply, yes I shouldnt have used the word amp, as i am connecting the speakers to the pre out of my onkyo. Ok among the beosound , beocenter... would like to know which particular model would be the best match for my speakers.

IMO Beocenter 2 sounds better than Beosound 3000. I have never owned beosound 4 or BS 9000.
Go for a BC 2
Great, Will check that out.
Thanks and regards
