Hi guys,
So, my Beomaster 1001 being sick I had to replace it (momentarily, I hope) with a 901 I've got free with the BG4002. I stupidly broke the radio dial cord and will work on it as soon as I receive the ordered new string.
The side panels have the rosewwood veneer peeling and completely away. But the top panel seems to be plain wood or at least, the veneer is not peeling at all.
Since, for once I do not want to turn it white I wonder how to deal with that in case I cannot find matching veneer? Do I need to sand or peel the top plate or is it plain and need to be covered (increasing thickness)?
Thank you.
