Dear all,

my old BL3500 is refurbished with new speakers :-) but unfortunely there is a unpleasant noise on the rigth side of the BL3500 :-( there is, between the tweeter and the display, a kind of opening or vent (see the picture). If there are basses in a certain frequency the BL3500 is clattering at this point.

What is the reason therefore and what can i do?

Best regards

Michael

Well,

now i can enclose this "old" problem:

Configuration: BM4500 connected to BL3500 via MCL (Master control link).

- when it's playing a very deep bass from any source, no problems at the NORMAL passive speakers (BeoVox4500 and Cona)

- same song with the same bass, strange clattering at the BL3500

- the clattering noise is coming from he tweeters!!!!

- the BL3500 is in a refurbished perfect condition,if i conect it via Masterlink to a BS4, there are no problems

Maybe there is a problem with the with the MCL connection (Cable?) or a problem with the BM4500.

Is this a problem with a pre-amplifier or the MCL system in the BM4500?

Thanks in advance!

Michael
