Who has experience with Almando ?

The products look interesting but they never respond to emails. 

It lacks seriousness...

 

I checked on Almando and Oneremote for a Powerlink switch. I did contact both via e-mail. I got the same experience you describe with Almando. Oneremote reacted very quick. I now use their Powerlink switches. So, I have no experience on the Almando side, but Oneremote units working excellent and offer a price advantage. Maybe an alternative.

I have a Almando Powerlink Switch now for 6 or 7 years running withouth problems.

Didn’t have any communication with the company as I Bought it via a reseller, so cant comment on that part.

Thanks for your answer. But it's a pity that Almando doesn't answer because their product are (too) expensive; for the same price you get a full A/V amplifier!!! 

Question:

- Does it works: sound from Samsung Frame into the Toslink input (I canot use HDMI because there is 4 HDMI inputs on TV). By this way the sound of all 4 inputs should be 5.1 on the speaker. Right ? 

- an HDD can be connected on the USB connector. Probably we can listen music from this HDD (which format are supported) How to navigate into the HDD music library ?

I'm glad that worked for you.  I bought a PowerLink Aux Expander from OneRemote but it never arrived.  When I eventually emailed them asking for status they said there was a mistake and the product was out of stock for another 6 weeks.  About 8 weeks later I inqired again but got no response, and ahve had no response to 3 subsequent emails.

 

I understand that OneRemote is a small company but it's pretty disappointing to pay for something, not receive it, and have no response to email either.
