I am looking for the instructions for replacing the beolab 11 shells.
Can anyone give me some information about it ?.
With your hands, you simply slowly and gently ease the shell away from the speaker -- going around the shell to try to keep the distance as equal as possible since there are poles that plug into the speaker and you wouldn't want to break them. Once the shell is separated, there is a grounding wire that needs to be pulled out by separating the connected plugs from each other.
The new shell needs to have the grounding plug attached. Then, just line up the poles with the plug holes and gently push them in.
Be careful of your hands and perhaps cover them with a cloth. The edges of the aluminum shells are often razer-sharp!
