Hi all,
I'm new to the group, and just replaced an old Beomaster 2400 with a Beomaster 3000. I had my 3040 TT connected to the Beomaster 2400 and had no issues with it. Once it was connected to the Beomaster 3000, all the TT wants to do is attempt to start playing an album - repeatedly. It won't actually keep the needle on the record for more than a second or two. If I disconnect the input cable, the TT appears to function normally.
Has anyone else experienced this, or is aware of this issue? Looking for some answers!
Assuming your Beomaster 3000 is the 80s model. The Beograms datalink communication is not compatible with your Beomaster 3000. (It was with the 2400).Unscrew the two outer pins from the Beograms DIN connector (and store the pins a safe place).

Thank you for this!
As the pins are, more or less, in a circular pattern, can you be more specific on 'outer pins'?
Thanks
Jeff
Pins 6 and 7.They are the outer ones in the semi-circle. The only ones with a slot for a small screwdriver.
