Hi guys,

I 'm considering to buy one more Beolit 17/20 to build a set up as below:

Turntable with built in Phono Pream to Beolit 17 via Aux 3.5 - stereo pairing - One more Beolit 17/20 unit

Did anyone have the similar set up like above can share some recommends?

Thank you very much!

I am afraid stereo pairing in the Beolit series is only possible via Bluetooth. This means that connecting a 3.5mm jack to one of your speakers will simply disable the wireless connection and you will not able to pair them.

But you can simply buy 2 RCA to 3.5mm jack cables to connect each channel from the phono preamp to your Beolits.

Beomaster 1700, Beocord 8000, Beolab 4000 MK1, Beolab 3000 (passive flat panel), BeoPlay E8 3rd gen, Beoplay H9 3rd gen, Beoplay P2

Oh i never think of the two rca connection. That’s a brilian idea.

Let me test it out. Thank alot for your recommendation.

Actually the beolit stereo pairing is quite buggy for my experience.

I would never build a setup that would be dependent on the stereo setup.

When it works it is great, but most of the time you will spend on ripping your hair out.

Get ourself a pair of Beolab 4000’s and a preamp with volume control Smile

But wouldn’t you then get the left channel respectively the right channel to each of the Beolit.....when the input there expects a stereo/L-R input.

I wonder how that would sound - did you try it out?

Otherweise, I am with Leo....get a set of e.g. the BL4000’s and it will work.

If you get a Beomaster (or a Beocenter) plus a beoremote as a volume controlling preamp it wil work wonders :-)

Hi olivergiangvu,

Welcome to Beoworld!

Yes, you can get a wired stereo pair of Beolit 17/20 speakers working from the phono pre-amp with this cable:-

https://soundsheavenly.com/beolab-4-and-4pc/80-54-stereo-rca-to-beolab-4-4pc-variable-level-line-outputs-only.html#/2-length-1m

Please let me know when placing the order that you will be using Beolits instead of Beolab 4, then I can ensure that the cable is wired correctly for you.

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.
