Good Afternoon,

I have one Beolab transmitter 1 (wireless), one BeoSound Essence, two Beolab 18 and one Beolab 19.

You could help me make this connection?

I am not sure how this connection should properly

If you could help me, I would appreciate it very much

Without further ado, and thanking you for your help.

I think you will get multiple answers, and mine is theoretical as I do not yet own an Essence.

Firstly, you did not list that you had a BeoLab Receiver - I expect that you do - but just checking :-)

DOH am I an idiot or what ?

Of course the 18s and 19 are wireless so no receiver needed

now editing my responses

Here is an initial simple wiring setup chart -- the extrapolation from this depends on your desired positioning of the sub woofer

The challenge I see for you having just read the Transmitter, Receiver, and Essence manuals (very quickly as a refresh) is that the handling of the sub-woofer is tricky ....

There is a switch on the Transmitter to indicate whether the PL1 port is an input of a stereo+subwoofer signal, or simple stereo with PL2 (in your case) carrying the subwoofer.

However the Essence does not have a separate subwoofer output port.

So I believe you will need a 2xRJ to 1xRJ combiner cable to go from the Essence to the Transmitter, and that you will need to set the Transmitter subwoofer switch to 2.1

(Edited to cover the fact the speakers are wireless)

Deleted as the speakers are WISA wireless

Then set each of the speakers to WL for wireless rather than L or R and then in the wireless setup process you select which role they play

One Ethernet cable between essence and transmitter 1.  its fairly easy to set up following the manual.  I have essence, transmitter 1 and beolab 17s. Like the sound.  But really don't like to operate the essence.  Good luck with your setup.

So each RJ port on the Essence is outputting R+L stereo signal ?

In which case, yes a straight through cable should suffice

You need an RJ45 powerlink cable to run from one of the PL sockets of the Essence to a PL input on the transmitter.  I believe a shielded Cat6 ethernet cable will also work - again, one end goes in an Essence PL socket, and the other to a PL socket on the transmitter.

It should be:

Essence Speakers PL1  --> Transmitter PL1 using an Ethernet cable Cat 6 or Cat 7.

Transmitter B&O Input Switch = Yes
