I have a BM7000 with Alexa connected to AUX IN/OUT.

It works great but when I want to switch to CD or RADIO the Audio continues to play from the AUX port.

Also, connecting a second Alex to the CD port and selecting CD produces no sound.

Are you sure you are connecting to input pins?
Not output pins?

My guess is that your cable actually connects your Alexa output to the _output_ of the aux socket instead ot its input, to the wrong pins of the DIN plug. That would explain the behaviour that you have observed – feeding a signal into an output often lead to that behaviour, and since the CD socket lacks output that would explain why it doesn't "work" with you cable.

Ah, Dillen beat me to it – and he also explained using fewer words :)

How would one wire a stereo mini plug to 7 pin DIN so that the Alexa audio is going to the INPUT on the BM7000?
