If you google " BeoLab 50 for sale" you will find an ad for a brand new set of BeoLab 50 for $ $ 17,000 on Hi-Fi shark which of course would be an unbelievable bargain.

When you follow the link to hi fi shark, the ad directs you to a site called Audiowoof, which apparently is a Swedish organization.

The particular offer comes from an individual seller called Audioexchange which I have not been able to find.

Also, and I don't know if this means anything the listing goes back to September 2018.

I have contacted the seller who confirms that the price is for the pair, that they are still covered by warranty and would be shipped in the original boxes.

What do you think - Is this too good to be true and likely a scam?

Of course this is a scam. If a person was capable of buying $100k speakers in the first place, he would surely be capable to sell them for a good price in a heartbeat.

Audiowoof has more lowpriced beolabs advertisements, wouldn’t trust it at all.

Sorry I misread your message, I read BL90 instead of BL50.

That sounds cheap but not too cheap. In general, if you do not trust it walk away.

If he can provide serial numbers and a invoice then it would be worth to investigate in more detail and visit him in person.

Go as far as you can from Quoka,Audiowolf, Ebay sellers with extrem low prices from Italy, Spain, ect...

That is all scam an they sell nothing. But most of them ars so stupid that post old ebay photos from US or UK ....

Just sheck mail wall electricity plug and you will notice US plug in Spain or Italy....ha ha...
