hi all,
i am in the process of buying a BEOSOUND 1 and noticed many people mention a 2nd generation. If so can you please indicate the differences between both and if there is any physical difference.
so far i found via different sites the main difference is the streaming capacity is increased and also the wifi connection.
i could not see any difference in the design.

If it has Google Voice Assistant, then it is a gen 2. If it doesn't have gva, then it could be gen 1 or gen 2. Gen 2 also has more "my buttons" on the top control panel. I believe gen1 just had 1, whereas gen 2 has 5(?).
Isn’t there a slight upgrade in the sound too?
The gen2 definitely sounded much better then my memory of the gen1 when it was released, but it's possible that the gen1's sound got the same (or similar) sound enhancement via a software upgrade. I'm not sure if there is a consensus on the forum about this.
