Beosound Stage line-in delay feature

Hi guys,

I am a proud owner of the Stage.Very happy ever since.
Yet for me it has one one flaw that has not been addressed yet and I am wondering why.

You can connect a turntable, a disc-player or whatever you want via line-in. But this line-in you cant delay like you can with an M3 or M5 etc. - you can however dsitribute via BeoLink but it ends up with an echo distribution because secondary devices are behind.
Of course you could also use to source some TV signal and then obviously there is the aspect of audio/picture being out of sync if you delay.

Still I dont get it via they do not at least leave the user the possibility to controlt his.
Or is it a chip limitation? However it would suprise me to learn that a stage has a less versatile chip than a beoplay M3...

Or is it just corporate politics to nudge you into other ecosystem  add-ons?
