I have this old (1600) radio, it's working, but not so well on the FM band.
When you tune in on a station, after a little while, it's drifting away and you have to tune in again.
I think it's a capacitor failure, but which one?
Or is it the AFC Circuit?

Best regards
VP

My Beo 1600 have the same issue. I cleaned all contacts with contact spray , and made some motion of the contacs, and now the stations are stable.

Volume , bass treble and bal. potmeters also got a spray , and now the noise are all gone.
