cd 5500 spins disc, clicks, then shuts off?

I have a cd 5500 that has started to act up: Getting more frequent: the disc spins up, and there is a clicking sound when it tries to play the cd, then the player shuts off. Anyone know what these symptoms mean? I did a search here and didn't see anything related, but maybe I missed something. Thanks!

Did you replace capacitors on the servo board?
