How to remove scratches from an MX series crt TV (MX7000)

Hi all,

A sweet MX7000 joined my family a few days ago. 

I love retrogaming and the moment I've heard it's degauss I felt in heaven! 

I am in love with it but I have countless questions, probably many of them are just silly, please be patient :)

I will ask questions in different threads so that they can be also helpful for others researching in the future. 

Here's the first: there are a few scratches / scruffs left by previous owner, is there a safe way to try to reduce the damage at least in the shiny plastic in the top and sides?

Is there any product / tool you use to clean it up and keep it shiny?
