I recently got a TX2 for free. The owner tried to fix a ticking motor by pulling out some of the gears and assembled it wrong. It was completely stuck. I managed to get it working (or so I thought).
It starts up all-right, pulls the tonearm to the record, lowers the arm but immediately raises the arm and pull it back to base.
I thing I might have identified that the problem has something to do with the Lift Lower Cam Wheel but really can't get closer to the solution. The wheel turns and lower the tonearm and raises it again, but it seems it is supposed to stop while the record is being played.

Any ideas?
