Hi everyone,

I am trying to complete the restoration of a Beocenter 7700. Getting closer, but I have an issue I cannot figure out.

I referred to this old post for guidance:

https://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/34814.aspx

...where it describes how a tiny plastic "slider" is part of the mechanism used to lift the lid (See image below). I looked everywere inside, but no "slider" could be found lost inside the unit.

It's really hard to figure out how the lid mechanism works from the service manual, but it seems that the "slider" is important, probably essential. I've looked all over the internet for one for sale, but I cannot locate one. Is there a substitute that can be used instead? Has anyone found an alternative method?

Thanks in advance

David
