Hello,

I have been encountering an issue for reading CDs with my BEOSound 9000 MK3 for a few weeks. I disassembled it until the optical lentil in order to clean the device and reassemble everything back. It seemed to have work, except that the following day, the problem went back... The CDs are not running (not turning) and it required around 10 minutes of trials (turning on, off etc) before it can work again. The moment it is turned off, the problem rises again.

i read that changing the optical cell would be an option... it seems too much to me, but what is your opinion? Do you know where I could buy the pieces?

Thanks!

Marius, don't know if you run testmodes 71 and 73 after laser cleaning. Especially TM 73 which in my opinion should be run in each disk place.
Also for laser lens cleaning you don't have to disassemble everything but just run TM 65 and disassemble few parts of a clamper.

Peter, thanks for your help.

As you asked me, I tried the test mode 71 and the 73 at each position. Some time I have an error CD 2 but when I try to adjust the little screw, I find the good position for all position. That worked well but it's always the same, we will see tomorrow.

Maybe an additional information would be important, my beosound is suspended and it not very flat on the wall.
