Hi everybody, I recently bought this marvellous TV Beovision LX 6000. Since it is in the 4:3 format I would like to know if there is a possibility to change to 16:9 by the menu with the remote?

Hi. I don't think so - as the TV is from before the screens were in 16:9 format. Nobody back then thought about changing format on the TV, as films in 16:9 or wider format, was broadcast with black bars on top and bottom. The subtitles were often placed in the lover black area, so that it didn't intefere with the picture.
I think the later version MX8000 had the possibility to change format.
