Beosound Stage Atmos from Sony A80J

Hi All,

My current setup is Sony a80j 77 and beosound stage connect via eARC HDMI. 

I can never tell if I’m getting atmos to the sound bar ( it sounds like surround but I’ve never had an atmos setup before)

my settings under A80J audio output are

eARC: auto

Digital audio out: auto 1 ( also tried auto 2)

Dolby digital plus output: Dolby digital plus

Pass through mode: auto ( also tried off, what does this do anyway?)

In my beosound bar app, I’m seeing the signal as “ Dolby digital plus” but not atmos. I ensured that the show I’m watching is in atmos mode , I validate by pressing display button on the remote. 

any idea why?
