Hi.

This is my first post so please let me know if i hit the wrong forum.

I am currently repairing a DVD1 4621 SerNo 19294699 ItemNo 1462008

The power supply is bad, only 5V standby is working.

i located a defective reference voltage generator (?) - no reference is passed to the oscillator.

Is there any schematic available ?

Regards

Mark

Mark,

Most of the DVD1 was not designed by B&O and the Service Manual which is available is just a repair manual for changing faulty modules.

Below is an overview of the wiring from the power supply only..

Hi Keith.

I have the "Service Manual" - and yes, B&O kept us short.

Does anyone have a schematic or knows who actually designed the PS ?

Hi Mark!

To my knowledge there where two generation of DVD1.  Mk I was based on a Philips mecanism and Mk II was based on a Pioneer mecanism. The type number ob your DVD1 (4621) points to a MkII/Pioneer based model, but I have no idea at all which specific Pioneer mecanism was used.

I hopt this helps.

Cheers
