I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find a thread with this issue, so here we go.
I have an Rx2 that was gifted to me and when I hit play, the arm moves over and the turn table turns twice and stops. On You Tube there is a video that explains the problem and he says there is a switch that needs to be cleaned.
He doesn't show how to pull the underneath turntable off or what the switches look like to be cleaned.
Has any else experienced this? Can you offer details on how to remove the part where the belt spins and what to clean to see if this fixes the problem?

I have the same problem we’re you ever able to figure it out? I can’t find anyone locally that will even look at it! I put off posting, because I didn’t want get you excited that someone had a solution.
