I have just completed installing three new drive belts in my BeoCord 3300. I had to clean up many years of the original belts having deteriorated and leaving sticky black gooey residue every where on the pulleys etc. I took my time and cleaned up all the gooey stuff and returned things to their pristine condition very carefully.
After reassembling the BeoCord and placing a Cassette into the tray the tape can be played, rewound, fast forward, etc. So from this I'm assuming all is well with the drive mechanism and the belts working as they should.
However, when playing a tape (and I've tried with 3 different cassettes as well as one I recorded myself many years ago), there's absolutely no sound. ........Very sad.
The BeoCord 3300 is connected to my Beomaster 3300 Amp/rRec correctly using the BeoCord's DIN connection to my Beomaster 3300's TP port, and I have a pair of 60.2 loudspeakers. The Amp/Rec is working correctly, I have a BeoGram 1800 turntable and it works perfectly, and when records are played there's beautiful sound from the 60.2 loudspeakers. So I know the Beomaster 3300 is working AOK.
I did some research on the web and somewhere along the way I read there were two Capacitors that should be replaced to solve this 'sound' problem. However, I now cannot retrace my search to find the website where I read this so that I could find out more and figure out what two capacitors are involved or where to buy them from.
This forum is full of very helpful information and I'm hoping this post will reach someone who can help with this issue.
So if there's a person here that can help me with this I would really appreciate some advice.

To add to my OP.... Here's my setup with having a Beomaster 3300 and Beomaster 4500 in separate rooms in my house.
1) Beomaster 3300, BeoGram CD 3300, BeoCord 3300, Remote controller, BeoGram 1800 turntable, 2x 60.2 loudspeakers+stands. I purchased this new way back in the early 1980s.
2) Beomaster 4500, BeoGram CD 4500, BeoCord 4500, BeoGram 4500 turntable, Long skinny heavy Remote controller, 2x 60.2 loudspeakers+stands. I purchased this recently from an estate sale during the past month.
3) My son has the following B&O units: Beomaster 3300 with 4x 60.2 loudspeakers, and an older Beomaster Amp/Rec with fake wood veneer on it... not sure what model it is, and it's not working today, but was repaired to working condition many years ago.
a) My BeoGram CD 3300 player spins up the disc and within a few seconds spins back down and stops. I have the Capacitor Kit on order and it will be delivered shortly, and hope this fixes things for this CD player.
b) My BeoCord 3300 has brand new drive belts and runs tapes correctly, but there's no sound.
c) My BeoCord 4500 runs correctly just like b) does, but also gives no sound. I've checked its drive belts and they all seems to be AOK - the drive belt(s) in the BeoCord 4500 are very different from the BeoCord 3300.
d) All the other B&O units operate correctly at this time.
I'm anxious to get all the non-operating B&O units working correctly.
As an aside, I'm completely amazed at the B&O build quality and design. They are a pleasure to use, and so far trying to repair the faulty ones is a challenge, and hopefully will prove to be rewarding if I can get them to work correctly.
