Hi all,

I'm struggling to remove the back cover from my Beolit 1000 as the centre bottom threaded bolt has corroded and fused with the nut. Both are spinning when I try to undo them.

I've added a small amount of penetrating spray and added slight leverage using a thin scraper (this allowed me to undo the end bolt which was also stuck) but no joy.

Can anyone suggest what I might try next?

No other option but to remove the head of the bolt very gingerly with a burr bit. Got the cover off with minimal collateral damage.

Just need to figure out how to address the threaded end!
