Would the CI Slot on Beovision 11 TV be compatible with Conax CAM?

Does anyone know if the CI Slot on the BeoVision 11 TV be compatible with a Conax CAM card?  Im not to sure if anyone has tried this on either a BeoVision 11 or a BeoPlay V1 Please help!

Hello what a great question!  Sorry I don't have an answer.

However, I would like to know what purpose the CI slot has?  Does that mean you can use a card (like foxtel and the UK equivalent Sky) instead of a separate Sky/Foxtel HD box?
